Full steam ahead for Winter 08

Not trying to be foolhardy here, but I am getting ready for the 3 courses I registered for. I expect a VERY BUSY quarter managing these 3 courses with a full time job. Also on my agenda is getting an internship for this summer. From the lessons learnt from last quarter, it seems to be imperative that I get an internship if I have to switch my career.

Wait, there’s my job as well. I may have to go on cruise-control on the job front. I simply cannot afford to put my best in all quarters…or can I? time will tell. till then let me strap on my seatbelt.

Karmic Reflections

Really.. what did I learn last quarter? As mentioned in one of my previous posts, the most valuable lesson I learnt last quarter has been on time management. Being a part-time student, adjusting to a new place, getting to know the city, trying to look for a full time job, making sure I do not miss out on any of the career services events and workshops on job hunting, making haphazard attempts to network, the heavy course load and the assignments were surely overwhelming to some extent but definitely exciting.

But did I learn more about myself? Have I become more self-aware of my weaknesses and strengths as a person? Have I become any confident of myself? Have I gathered the skill set to change gears into a different career?

I am not sure. I will only wait and observe. After all I am a seeker. The journey has just begun. How can it be over so soon. As the law of karma states, all things share an equal chance of gaining ultimate perfection and going through the full course of experience and development
